Smart Fencing System Overview

Each system includes a Farm Gateway and at least one Fence Node (sold separately, Part #880 0004-540). Solar-powered Nodes are installed at intervals of up to 1,640 feet along the fence line, either from the Gateway or another Node. These Nodes continuously monitor fence voltage and transmit data back to the Gateway.

The Farm Gateway mounts easily to a barn or shed wall and connects via WiFi or Ethernet to the Datamars Livestock: Farm Management App. Once installed, producers can set voltage thresholds and receive alerts when levels drop. The system pinpoints the general location of faults, saving time and labor in fence inspections.

Expand coverage by adding more Nodes—up to 50 per Gateway—to monitor large or remote areas.
